What FUN!

The other day a BIG box arrived at my house. Mommy said it had "presents" in it for me, and she took them out of the box and put them under a tree in our house. One night when mommy was gone for a few hours - Daddy and I started playing with what was left in the box......I HAD SO MUCH FUN!

Yum....my new favorite

Mommy brought these yummy things home from the store for me. Wow - I gobble these up as fast as I can get them! I won't even waste my time with those apple flavored stars anymore...these little crunchies I can chew with my front teeth (of which I have FOUR front teeth now!). Mmmmmmmmm mmmmmm GOOD!

Getting STRONGER!

Yup! This is ME! I have learned to stand up on my own. I LOVE to stand up in my crib - or in this case my Grandma's pack-n-play. Soon I will be cruising like mommy, daddy and our two cats! Watch out world....

My side job....

Yup - this is me. Sometimes I moonlight as a bank robber. When I was on vacation I came across a sweet job in Virgina City, Nevada. My getaway was through a coal mine. Can you see my stash? Now just think of all the toys I can get with that cash.....

My cousin Scott

This is me and my cousin Scott. Scott is about one year older than me. Mommy and daddy took me on another plane ride to see my grandma and grandpa Twogood and my Aunt and Uncle and cousin Scott. We all stayed together at a place called Lake Tahoe. I loved playing with my cousin Scott - he had all sorts of cool toys that I learned to play with. My favorites were his cars and his soccer ball. Scott scared me a few times with a deep "growl"...mommy said he sounded like a bear. I did cry the first day Scott would :growl" at me because I was scared...but now I have learned to "growl" on my own. I am trying to be scary like Scott - but mommy and daddy just smile and laugh at me.

Wonder Pets!

I like the wonder pets. Mommy brought me back a treat from the store...my very own wonder pets DVD! Now I can watch wonder pets when ever I want! I dance to all the songs the wonder pets sing.

Sleepy time

Here is my new sleeping position. When mommy puts me in my crib I immediately roll to my tummy now. I fall right asleep. Then later on my butt goes in the air like this:

Yup! Look at me! I have master the art of holding my own bottle! Mommy just hands it to me and I hold it in my mouth!

It has been a while

I have been so busy growing up lately - I have forgotten to tell the world about it! I just turned 7 months old a few days ago. The day after I turned 7 months old I got my first tooth! It was bugging me for a while....I was chewing on anything and everything. Daddy bought me this big shark that I like to chew on. But my tooth is finally here. Mommy says I will start to get more grown up food soon. I sure wish it was coming faster - I want to eat all the colorful stuff mommy and daddy eat. I sit in my special chair every night and watch them eat the grown up food.

I have enjoyed my summer with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Nick. Aunt Sarah (and Uncle Nick when he isn't working) and I play every day while mommy and daddy go to work. Aunt Sarah takes me on long stroller rides (I have the tan legs to prove it!), to the pool, we hang out in her bedroom, we go to the store and I watch Aunt Sarah cook some yummy grown up food. I sure am going to miss Aunt Sarah and Uncle Nick when they leave in a week to go back to school (what is that?).

The next trick I want to master is the "crawl". Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Sarah are always putting me on my tummy and making me sit up on my knees. One of these days I will start to move more with my knees. I think I like standing more than trying to crawl.

I feel like such a grown up boy now...I graduated to the big bath tub! I got so big I didn't fit in my little tub - so now daddy gives me baths in the big tub. I LOVE IT! I get to splash around, play with my duck, pig, sheep and daddy is teaching me how to drink the tub water out of a cup! I look forward to my baths every night with daddy.

I also sleep lots during the night now. I go to bed about 8:30 or 9pmish and normally wake up around 7-8am. When my tooth was trying to come I woke up a few nights crying - it was hurting. Mommy came in and gave me some love and some medicine and rocked me back to sleep. There were a few nights daddy did it too.

The things I can do....

I have been growing up so fast lately! I keep growing out of my clothes lately! Mommy has me on a mix of 6-9 month and 12 month clothes - I am only 5 months old! I wonder what a 5 month old looks like that fits in 3-6 month clothes....hmmm.

I see so many things now - my favorite thing is fire. I like candles. It was fun to stare at daddy's birthday cake with candles....when is the next birthday party? When mommy and daddy take me to resturants sometimes they have candles on the table and I STARE at them all night. I also like to grab everything within my reach.

I am getting tired of my car seat, especially on long road trips. I try and sit up out of my car seat all the time. My back gets super sweaty....what is the deal with me not getting direct access to the air conditioning? Mommy and daddy took me to southern utah a little bit ago - there were lots of cool rocks to look at. I was tuckered out by the end of the trip.

I like pears...not peaches

Mommy has been trying to feed me this funny stuff. She calls it rice cereal...but to me it is way too yucky. I always spit it out - it makes mommy mad some times. Well, the other day she gave me something a little bit sweeter - I think it was peaches. It was better than rice cereal, but a bit to tart for my likings. TODAY mommy gave me PEARS! I loved them!!! I kept eating them bite after bite...I sure hope I get pears every day!

I love my new jumper....I haven't mastered going up and down yet, but I sure do like all the noises it makes!

My new trick

Today I learned a new trick! I learned how to pull off my socks. I played a trick on Auntie Sarah - I pulled off my socks four times today......I would "hide" them all throughout the house....she never realized it was me until mommy saw me do this trick:

My first swim

Today I got to go for my first swim! Mommy got me all dressed up in my swimsuit and we headed the pool down the street from our house. I had so much fun! Watch my video:

Chew chew chew

I have been chewing my hands like CRAZY!!! It feels so good when I chew my hands. Mommy thinks I may be getting a tooth....I have been really cranky too. I just get tired of chewing some times.

Mr. Giggles

I love to laugh! Mommy and Daddy started calling me Mr. Giggles a few days ago. Sometimes Mommy and Daddy can really get me going and I giggle so hard and for so long it gives me the hiccups! I have also learned how to grab things with my hands - my zoo animals are within my reach:

I am starting to explore all the cool toys that I get surrounded with - my current favorite is a bouncy chair with little birdies that move. I kick my legs hard and I move up and down....then I pull some toys and the birdies move:

Busy little guy!

I have been a busy little boy lately! There have been lots of visitors at my house the past two weeks. First some of mommy and daddy's friends from Texas came. There were two little boys that were a bit bigger than me that I loved to watch. Mommy says one of them was two years old and the other was four years old. Then my cousin Peyton who is one year old came to visit for over a week. I loved playing with Peyton. Autie Lisa and Peyton would sing "this little piggy" to me and play with my toes. Peyton would tickle me and I would always laugh. When my laugh gets really big I get the hiccups, which I don't like.

Now mommy has gone back to work and I get to go to a babysitters house. The babysitter has a one year old girl who I get to play with also. We talk and smile at eachother. Then when mommy picks me up we play the rest of the night. I still like to fall asleep on daddy's chest before bedtime.

Oh! I started sleeping longer at night too! I sleep pretty good for about 6-7 hours, then I get hungry for a bottle - but go right back to sleep. I think mommy still wakes up all the time to check on me though...she is looking a bit tired these days!

See....I can be a perfect angel when ever I want to....now all I need is a "halo".

I learned something new!

I learned how to pull mommy's hair today! It is so long and beautiful. When mommy puts her hair in my face it makes me laugh...especially when it tickles my nose. Today I learned I can close my hand in that long hair and when I pull mommy makes funny noises! Of course I start laughing when mommy makes these noises too!

It is offical...

It is offical - I am 10 weeks old AND have graduated to size 2 diapers! Mommy says I am growing like a champ. Daddy likes that I smile and talk to him now - we always have guy chats when I get my bath before bedtime. I am starting to learn to grab things - I like the ones that make noise. I also like to look at my zoo animals - I talk to them and sometimes make them move! Here is a picture of me and my zoo animals:

In honor of grandma and grandpa Gray

My grandma and grandpa Gray came to town this weekend! I haven't seen them since I was one week old. Mommy dressed me up in my Denver Broncos outfit in honor of grandma and grandpa Gray (they are from some place called Colorado). Football season may be over - but I sure look cute!

Asian Buffet

Yesterday Mommy and Daddy took me to an Asian Buffet! It smelled fishy if you ask me.. Daddy said I had Soy Milk, but it tasted like normal formula to me.. Mommy said not to listen to Daddy. Wanna see what my fortune said? Click on my cookie!

8 weeks old

I am 8 weeks old today! I get bigger and bigger all the time. Mommy says I am going to the doctor next week for a checkup - she keeps saying I am a "two foot twelve pounder"....I guess I will find out what that means at the doctors.

I still like my bottles - if I drink 4 ounces I normally can go 3-4 hours until my next bottle. I still don't like to sleep through the entire night..my tummy rumbles too much and I am hungry and want a bottle. Mommy looks really tired when she gives me my bottles at night. I am always up and ready to play!

Mommy and I get out lots during the week. We went shopping in Park City this week. Mommy had to get me a cute outfit for my Auntie Sarah's wedding. I take after my daddy, I don't think I like shopping very much. I started to cry in the very first store! I made mommy carry me the rest of the trip.

My first party

I had my first party! All the cousins in the Gray family here in Lehi threw me my own shower. I got held by all the lady cousins, they even fed me my bottle. I flashed my cute smile and got lots of "oooohh" and "aahhhh"s. Everyone even brought me presents! I got lots of handsome clothes (these ladies have great taste!), a wipe warmer (so I don't cry when mommy changes my diaper anymore!), blankets and bath stuff....I am such a lucky kid!

6 weeks old!

Well today I am offically 6 weeks old! Time sure does fly, just seems like I was 5 weeks old a few short days ago! Since last week mommy has caught me giggling - only one time. Mommy and Daddy have tried to capture my smile on camera - but I change my face as soon as I see that thing that flashes light in my eyes. I also like to talk when I am laying on my changing table after mommy changes my diapers - my tongue makes clicking noises. I have also graduated to larger sized clothes. Mommy still tries to squeeze me into some of my 0-3 month clothes cause she says "they are too cute".

I got mommy!

Hah! Not only did I manage to poop while mommy was changing my diaper this morning...I pee'd on her TWICE this afternoon when she was changing another diaper! I am getting good. I haven't pee'd on daddy yet - he's my bro, I can't pee on him!

5 weeks

Today I am five weeks old! Can you believe that? Here is a list of some of my accomplishments so far:

• I have mastered the art of drinking bottles - I can almost hold my own (or at least I try).
• I can make some nasty poopy diapers - normally when I am at home with mommy. Daddy can't handle my poopy diapers he has to get mommy to come in and change them.
• I try and trick mommy and daddy with my fake cry at times, I think they are catching on that I have no tears when I fake cry.
• I sleep in my crib, about 2-3 hours at a time - until I am ready for a bottle.
• I like talking with mommy.
• I like rocking with mommy - if she puts me on her chest I always fall asleep!
• I like to play with daddy - we go for pretend airplane rides, we dance, I even eat daddy's nose!
• I have been out of the house to see the Harlem Globetrotters, Monster Truck show, lunch with mommy and her girlfriends (twice) and valentines dinner with mommy and daddy.
• I don't like it when my hats cover my eyes - I cry as loud as I can!

Something new to eat....

Monster Jam

Last night I was rolling with my homies! Mommy and Daddy took me to something called "Monster Jam". There were HUGE trucks with big wheels and they were REALLY loud! I LOVED looking around at all the lights. Daddy had bought me a special shirt to wear to this event - it has a big monster truck on it as says "This is how I roll". Daddy even bought two Monster trucks at the show - one for me to play with (when I get older) and one for Daddy to play with. We sat in the same suite we were in for the Harlem Globetrotters earlier this week - there were only 4 other people in the suite with us - so I had plenty of room to roam and claim mine.

Hey what can I say....Daddy knew what kind of kid I would be when he bought me this shirt - after all I look 8% more like daddy according to the look-a-like meter. I am only one month old but I can party with the best of them....

Family Night

Last night mommy, daddy and I had family night. This was my first family night EVER! Daddy had gotten some tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters in Salt Lake City in his company's suite. I was living like a king! All the ladies in the suite thought I was cute - I do have daddy's smile! After the show daddy bought me my first basketball - it was a special one - it is from the Harlem Globetrotters. I was such a good baby that Daddy said we can go out again...and he mentioned he has a surprise for me coming up.....

I've got GAME!

Hello WORLD! I am such a lucky baby....mommy and daddy hooked me up with my very own BLOG! Now how many three week old kids can say they have that? I may be small but I have lots to say - and share with the world (and my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins).

Today after my bath - mommy and daddy took lots of pictures of me. At first I didn't like it because I was only in my diaper (which I managed to fill completely with poop by the time we were done with the photo shoot), but daddy made sure the room was nice and warm so I didn't cry for long. Mommy says I am a ham for the camera just like daddy. Here are some of my favorite photos for my porfolio:

Besides that - I have just been eating and sleeping like normal. I am up to 3 ounces every feeding - which range between 2-3 hours. Mommy is getting pretty good about having my bottle ready when I wake up to eat....I don't eat my hand as often as I used to - I still like to root, mommy likes it when I do that!
